I don’t know what it is, but it’s my new favorite tree (and I’m not into pink). Most of them grow too tall to see the blooms on the canopy, but this one obliged. Some kind of shefflera-looking leaves with these amazing palm-sized blooms. It’s loving the recent rains and it makes me happy.
(that’s an oleander variety blooming bottom left.)

    Oh, those are gorgeous! I can’t help you out on what they are, but they’re certainly bright and springy! :)

    ooh, lovely! i thought maybe a pink jacaranda, but alas, totally different flower form. let me know if you find out!

    The common name for this tree is Silk Floss Tree. Also known as Floss Silk Tree.
