Yesterday some whopper storms came through in the afternoon. They may have destroyed some seedlings and yet-to-sprout pots of seeds I misguidedly left sitting open in the sun while we left on an errand (a bad word or two were spoken), but the flowers enjoyed the soak.
our fake little woodland--hyacinths and a columbine in bud
Dicentra with Forget-me-nots
Anemone sylvestris with a native phlox
ah, little cranesbills
so-called Blue Parrot Tulips looking mauve to me
they're not happy when it rains
now that's blue--the overwintered pansies
a dash of orange stonecrop
Allium rosenbachianum overlooking the ditch
don't forget the lilacs out the upstairs window
Thanks to Carol at May Dreams Gardens for hosting bloom day.
